What are the benefits of Smub?

Smub makes it easy to save and share links from your iPhone and iPod Touch -- no mean feat, as Safari on these devices currently lacks the copy-and-paste functionality so many of us have come to rely on. With Smub, you can share links via email and post links directly to your Facebook, Twitter, MySpace or Delicious accounts from your iPhone and iPod Touch with incredible ease. Some people think of it as the ShareThis... of the iPhone. We appreciate the comparison.
There are no applications to download or plug-ins to install to use Smub; it works from any browser on any machine. And, if you register for a free Smub account, you can easily access, manage, search and sort your saved smubs for later use.

What is a tag/keyword?

A tag (aka keyword) is a word or phrase that will help you identify your saved bookmark when you want to retrieve it later. For example, if you were to save Craigslist search results as smubs, you could tag each result with 'craigslist,' 'craig' or 'clist,' etc.. If you were to return to your account later, you could find these results by simply clicking on the appropriate tag in your bookmark area and allowing Smub to automatically filter your links for you.

Why should I choose a short user name?

We recommend choosing a short username for a couple of reasons. First, if you'll be using Smub to post your links to Twitter or other services that limit the number of characters you use, you'll want to keep your character count to a minimum. Second, the shorter your username, the shorter your finished smub will be, making it that much easier to remember!
